View Full Version : Guess the movie game
_____V_____
05-28-2006, 02:12 AM
This is a simple game. Based on a clue or two, you have to guess the name of the movie. The correct guesser will then provide the next clue or set of clues, and the guessing continues and so on.
You have to keep in mind that the clues should contain enough indications towards the movie in question, and no wrong facts should be included in it.
The clues can be the plot, famous trivia, actors/actresses link-ups, goofs, anything which will make the name of the movie slightly easy to guess
OK I am going first and starting off with a simple one. The clues are :-
1) The opening credits are shown over a blurred image of the killer removing skin from his fingertips.
2) At the beginning of the movie, when the two lead actors walk down the street, all the building addresses begin with the same number.
3) The town's name that the events take place is never given.
4) The ending credits roll down instead of up.
Plenty of easy clues. Guess the movie?

no guesses? or no takers?
thought this was an easy one...
Anyway...the correct answer comes later tonight, or sooner if anyone correctly guesses it...

That reply pretty much sums it up.
"Anything I touch, turns to dust."
The movie is Se7en.

This second set of 2 clues is :-
1 - The Plot
Its about a couple who get caught in the middle of an alien's plan to enslave human bodies using some sort of "live frisbees", which are actually small alien creatures that attach themselves to the victims and suck their blood out through tentacles. The couple have to protect themselves not only from the aliens but also from the drunk locals, all the while the master alien grabs more and more humans...
2 - This early 80s flick had 2 actors who went on to win Oscars for best performances in a supporting role. (NOT for this movie but in their acting careers)
Guess the movie?

Anyway those 2 actors (if you dont know already) are :-
Jack Palance & Martin Landau.
Last clue :-
- This movie was released in 1980 and Greydon Clark was the director. Other cast members include David Caruso and Kevin Peter Hall (Predator) as the Master Alien.
There you have it. Aliens. Hairy frisbees. Jack Palance. Martin Landau. David Caruso. Kevin Hall. 1980. Greydon Clark.

So technically it's my turn, you didn't even give me a sure sign that i got it, so i'm going now.
1. It involves a brother and his younger sister (as well as other stars)
2. It takes place in america.
3. It was made after 2000
4. It was not (to most people) a very good movie by any means, and is not well known either.
5. The star recently was part of an excellent movie.
(More clues in a bit)

Like I said, the person who guesses the correct answer gets to post the next set of clues. You can give 3 clues, and someone has to guess the movie.

Don't take it that way, i'm not trying to be an asshole. I'm in post *listened to screaming girls scream about spiders in their tents until 8 am and got 0 hours of sleep camping last night* trauma. I just meant that we (as in everyone, you included) probably know whose up next, no big deal.
