Alright just finished AvP....and i must say good ideas just fucking HORRIBLE directing (via Resident Evil director) and poor execution....

First of all : THE BULLIT TIME!! WE DON"T NEED GODDAMN MATRIX COP-OUT SLOW MOTION WITH ALIENS AND FACE HUGGERS!!!!:mad: That was the stupidest decision he made....horrible...HORRIBLE....

Secondly, plot holes galore....the time setting...2004? So now when we encounter a alien life form in the first alien movie its no longer alien....we know about it.....there would have been ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with putting it forward say 50-100 years where it would make alot more sence...2004? Another bad choice....

How about the random ass lifespan of that alien, it gets in one human and burst out, i shit you not, 2 mins later, grown.....then gets in weylen and never bursts out, in like the 40 mins he sticks around....not to mention the cop out ending with the hybrid that takes THE WHOLE ENTIRE MOVIE to grow.....

WORST CHOICE EVER : HUMAN PREDATOR TEAM UPS....i swear there should have been a love scene....horrible horrible addition...WTF was this guy THINKING?? DID HE EVEN WATCH ANY OF THE PREDATOR OR ALIEN MOVIES?!?!?!?!

The Village....

Well i went in expecting very little because everyone here says it sucks, and i wasnt a HUGE signs fan but whatever....

The turn around ending sucked kinda.....the monsters (if thats what you call them) sucked pretty bad, worse than signs, but the actors were pretty good....and the *spoilers*

















Sudden and anticlimatic shanking of the main male character was the really only cool thing in the movie.....

Damn i couldnt agree more about AvP BUT i didnt like it at all. not even once you got past all that shit you talked about. damn i was soooooo dissapointed. I heard that saw was supposed to be really good.........

omg, i heard SAW was much like the movie Seven...and i LOVE SEVEN!! def one of the best movies EVER! anyways, i haven't actually seen the movie yet, my friend just ruined it for me so i kinda know the whole story already...heard there was some bad acting...:(

Dog Soldiers was the last 'new to me' film I've seen in a while.
I think everyone knows that film here already.

Other than that I've been revisiting some old Italian classic horror films. There isn't much new out there right now.

A really good film i think....alot of good scenes.....i liked it ALOT better than the first one....but still owned by GOODFELLAS which is now, OFFICIALLY, the best mobster movie of all time.....based on a true story too.....

The Recruit

What can i say about this movie......colin farrell is a mimbo (male bimbo for those unseinfeld educated) who has proven no evidence that he can act thus far....

The story line was slow, and predictiable with the male female conflict and resolution....

Even Al Pacino was dull.....kinda a shame....but i didnt expect much...

just got back from taking my kid to The Incredibles ..
It was ... well, incredible ..

Everytime you think animation cant get better ...
You should see the water in this one ... and night time lighting .. it blew me away.

Very young kids will love the action, parents will love the adult situations .. not sure about teens - they might not find as much to relate to..so I cant recommend this one across the board .. unless you like Pixar animation .. and i know a lot of people dont.

I like old hand painted cell animation, i like computer animation ...

my son loved saw. arioch, i love goodfellas but godfather 2 is the best. as for the incredibles, they are talking movie of the year contender.

I disagree with you on two things;
1) Colin Farrell is a very good actor. He was good in Phone Booth, and fan-fucking-tastic in Tigerland, and I've heard really good things about The Home at the End of the World.

2) Godfather is the best mobster movie ever. Goodfellas is a close second, but still isn't #1

As for Colin....he was outshined by just the AUDIO of Sutherlands voice in phone booth....very uninspired ifyou ask me......the next orlando bloom....

Haven't seen tigerland....

And godfather 2 OWNS godfather one....

Orlando Bloom doesn't have a Tigerland. Colin Farrell is unspeakably awesome in that movie. I'm seeing Home at the End of the World pretty soon, and I've heard great things about him in that.
