According to the fine folks at Creature-Corner, Dimension Films is looking to remake the film that started it all. The next "Halloween" movie won't pick up from where "Halloween: H2O" left off, but would instead start at the beginning. Even better, they've approached John Carpenter to both write & direct the remake.
Carpenter's reaction to the proposal is still not known, but if he does take on the project, expect one more in a lengthening line of recent remakes of classic horror films.

| This movie would suck!! I mean, remakes may be good and all, but they never, and mark my words NEVER, live up to the original. Michael Myers is the greatest ever, and it would be shamefull to remake a masterpiece like that. | |
