Carlee Baker on Femme Fetales

Carlee Baker, who appeared in Wicked Lake and Attack of the Slime People, has a guest starring role in this week’s episode of Femme Fatales, which airs on Friday, May 27 at 11:00PM on Cinemax.
 
The new late-night anthology series about powerful, sexy and dangerous women was inspired by and styled in the tradition of pulp stories, film noir and graphic novels, but take place in contemporary settings.  The half-hour program features stories similar to such noir movies as Bound, Dead Calm and Red Rock West. In each of the 13 stand-alone episodes, women find extraordinary ways of coping with their problems, channeling their survival instincts and bringing out their inner guile. Each episode is introduced by a mysterious and enigmatic host Lilith, played by Tanit Phoenix ('Death Race 2,' 'Lost Boys 3'), and features different casts and storylines, some of which are intertwined.
 
Carlee’s episode is entitled “Something Like Murder” and it’s in the tradition of classic film noirs like “Double Indemnity” and “Body Heat.”  Lovers DARLA MACKENDRICK (Anya Monzikova) and BETH ODETS (Carlee Baker) conspire to murder Darla's older, dull, wealthy husband, CHARLES (Ian Gregory).
