Hendriksen Gives Scoop on "Alien vs. Predator"

Lance Henriksen played the android Bishop in "Aliens". It may seem coincidental that Henriksen would be cast in a lead role in "Alien vs. Predator", but it isn't, according to Sci Fi Wire.

"I don't play Bishop in this movie," Henriksen told the magazine. "I play the man who created him. He's a billionaire and is responsible for taking this expedition to Antarctica, where everything takes place. It's a pretty cool character."

Henriksen's character is named Weyland - of the evil Weyland-Yutani Corp. that causes the trouble in the first three "Alien" movies.

"Alien vs. Predator" is currently shooting in Prague, and will hit theaters in June 2004.
