Last week on Harper's Island, it was ladies first as not one, but two of the female cast were killed off most bloodily.
 
First (cut) up was Beth, "The Single Girl", then Katherine  "The Stepmother" got her wicked due at the last minute.
 
Horror.com caught up with both of the actresses who played the doomed pair and asked just a few quick questions.

BETH BARRINGTON - "The Single Girl" (played by Amber Borycki)
 
 
Beth Barrington is a bridesmaid and Trish’s former college roommate.  She’s beautiful, energetic and athletic.  Though she didn’t grow up as privileged as Trish, she’s very comfortable in that world.

1) Beth rhymes with "Death" — coincidence? 
 
I should have seen that one coming. 
 
 
2) Beth's archetype is "the single girl" and "always a bridesmaid", so what is that ring doing on her finger in the photo of her on the yacht on the way to Harper's Island?
 
Well, she wore one on her middle finger on her left hand and on the ring finger on her right hand. She likes the rings!
 
 
3) Beth's body was left in the hidden tunnel. When it is found, what will she want done with it?
 
I pity the person who has to crawl down there searching for the half of it that is down there. I think they will spend awhile searching for the bottom half and when it can’t be found they will save some money and buy a small coffin.

KATHERINE WELLINGTON - "The Stepmother" (played by Claudette Mink)
 
Katherine Wellington is the very definition of a trophy wife; a sexy woman closer in age to her stepdaughters than her husband.  Trish resents her, but Shea tolerates her because she makes their dad happy.  But considering Katherine’s secret dark desires, that might not be for long.

1) What would Katherine have done with her dead husband's money, had she lived to enjoy it? 
 
Well, one part that was never revealed is that - my dead husband actually had no money so Katherine would be burying him in a cardboard box and kicking him to the curb.
 
 
2) Katherine lost two men on Harper's Island. Would you describe her as a Black Widow?
 
I think she is a black widow and deep down has a black, black heart.
 
 
3) Didn't Katherine know better than to sit with her back to a window while taking part in a horror story?
 
Yeah, pretty stupid huh? But I didn't write my scene!
