SPOILERS ABOUND!

JD Dunn (Dean Chekvala) plays the groom Henry’s brother on Harper's Island, the weekly mystery in which someone dies in every episode. This week it was JD, the dark and brooding loner with tattoos all over. Being the only brother of the groom should have made him a lock for "best man," but JD was barely a guest at the wedding and would not have minded just missing the whole shebang all together. His childish antics, such as lighting firecrackers with 11-year-old Madison make Henry's life difficult… and sometimes there's a malevolence in them that makes everyone wonder if JD had some secret endgame. Now, we will never know!

Here is our 5-question game with Dean Chekvala:

1. Never mind the Facebook 25 Random Things. That's too much information. Just tell we horror fans one random thing about JD.

JD’s original death scene involved holding a bunch of guts (sausages) but then the show ended up using the milder version.

2. J.D. Dunn is known as "The Black Sheep" - he's also tried to make himself sort of an ugly duckling with his apparel and tattoos, and sees himself as a scapegoat. What other animal analogies can we apply to JD?

He is also like a hawk – 'cause most of the time he sits back and observes.

3. If JD were able to come back from the afterlife, who would be most like to haunt, and why?

Madison, 'cause she would get a kick out of it.

4. It seems as though JD and Madison enjoyed stirring up trouble together -- why the connection?

I think they were kindred spirits because they both can see through people.

5. In the vein of Damien's nanny from The Omen ("It's all for you, Damien!"), JD tells Abby that everyone on Harper's Island is dying because of her. So - What are you own favorite depressing 'famous last words'?

My favorite would be from Hamlet though it is not depressing. Horatio, “Good night sweet prince and flights of angles since thee to thy rest.” Or “Be sure and tell them large Marge sent ya” – Peewee’s Big Adventures.
