Last time horror fans who watched VH1's series "I Love the 80s" may have been slightly distraught with the very low number in segments paying homeage to horror in the 80s. Well have no fear! VH1 has brought the series back with VH1's "I Love the 80s Strikes Back". And this time, 80's horror gets a little overdue representation.

While I'm sure we could go for a little more, accoding to VH1 we will be getting segments on Friday the 13th (1980), The Shining (1980), Christine (1983), Cujo (1983), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), The Fly (1986), and Predator (1987). Will there be more mentioned than these? Tune in to find out.

The series starts on VH1 on Monday October 21 at 9/8 c with 1980 followed by 1981 at 10/9 c. The following night at the same times we get 1982 and 1983 and so on until the series ends on October 24 with 1988 and 1989.

Just saw the 1980 episode of this and they indeed talked about Friday the 13th. Chris Jericho was actually talking about it and pointed out that Jason's mommy is actually the killer in the flick. "Jiff, Jiff, Jiff, Jiff, Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop"
