For the very first time, AOL RED (www.b-red.com) will be hosting the exclusive release of a feature film, Incubus, for direct to download beginning on Halloween, October 31, 2006.

Incubus, the story of six teenagers who break into what they think is an abandoned factory to seek shelter. They quickly find themselves trapped and realize too late that they are not alone.

Suspended in a triple locked shatter proof clear cube attached to an observation room is a coma patient obviously being tested and experimented on. The bizarre sleeper and his horrific powers hold the key to their escape and ultimately their survival.

Staci Layne Wilson/Horror.com: How were you approached for this project?

Tara Reid: They sent me the script, and they offered me the part of Jay, So I read the script, I liked it, I accepted the part of Jay.

Q: And when you read the script, what really stood out about the movie, for you? What made you go, “yeah, this is a part I’d really love to play”?

A: I thought it was a really good story, I thought it was really well-written and smart, and I thought it was really scary. And I just kinda put myself in that position, like if that happened it would just freak me out so much, I was thinking about it over and over again all the time, and I thought, “I have to do this movie.”

Q: Which scenes in Incubus would you say are your favorites?

A: I really want to say it’s the scene with my brother, but I don’t want to give away the ending. You know what I mean? You can’t say that, it would ruin the whole movie.

Q: You’ve done a couple of horror films, are you a fan of the genre?

A: I love the genre, I think it’s great. First of all, they’re great date movies, you know, like you always grab onto a guy when you go see a horror film. They’re always fun, to have a bunch of friends over to your house, and watch a horror film together, and freak each other out. And they’re like fun movies, as far as being scared yourself, your adrenaline starts rushing – it’s an adrenaline rush!

Q: And what would you say to encourage horror fans to watch this particular movie?

A: It’s really scary. I watched it with my friends, and I was even scared, and I knew what was going on! It’s a psychological mind thriller.

Q: And what did you think when you heard it was going to be an online only movie?

A: I think it’s really cool. If it works, it could be a great platform for actors to do more movies. You know with reality tv nowadays, a lot of actors don’t work anymore. So if this takes off and does good, there will be a lot more movies made for the computer, for download. I think that’d be awesome.

Q: So you would you do another one?

A: Absolutely! We live in a generation where everyone is on their computers, easy access, it’s fun, you can own the movie forever, you can watch it whenever you want, you can pause to go to the bathroom, I mean, it’s a better thing to do. It’s not even like going all the way to Blockbuster. (unintelligible) It’s just a better way to do it, if it works.
