According to Tom Savini's Official Site, Tom has been contacted to participate in recording a commentary track for a Friday the 13th DVD. The track is rumored to be recorded along with Friday the 13th director Sean Cunningham as well as Joseph Zito.
The release date of this project has not yet been announced, but it appears as though it will be a part of the long rumored Friday the 13th box set!
In other Savini news, the Independent Film Channel is set to honor Tom with the 2003 Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's New York Film Festival. Go, Tom!
