As I said in the numerous other threads we've had for this film, I found it predictable, and the male & female leads were barely sketches of people. Good if all you want from a film is blood & gore.

Speaking of blood and gore...anyone seen any of the films from "Toe Tag Pictures"? I just heard of them today, so I know nothing except that they are supposed to be disturbingly graphic.

I'm sorry for posting another thread about the movie. I wasn't sure if it had been reviewed since I thought it might still be at the box office. Thanks for your comments about the film.

Rue Morgue did an article on them several months back. To paraphrase, they're well-nigh unwatchable. Haven't seen one myself though I'd like to see what the ruckus is about. Thought about ordering one but don't want to pay thirty bucks for a film no matter what it is. The third in the August Underground trilogy, Redsin Tower I think it's called, is listed in the latest Rue Morgue as one of the fifty goriest movies of all time. Interesting list, by the way. Fred Vogel, who heads Toe Tag Pictures, is supposed to have studied under Tom Savini.

I liked the movie, but I thought it was too dark (at least on my tv). I could barely see what was going on the latter half of the movie. I'm sure it will be on dvd once the exclusivity of the FEARnet version runs out.

I don't like movies that are too dark. Due to the negative reviews I've read, I may pass on this one.
