The Ring
The Exorcist Dog Soldiers The Thing Atmospheric horror gets me in the mood. And Dog Soldiers has Werewolves :) Oh, and of course Halloween 1 and 2, and if I am feeling masochistic, 3. "8 more days till halloween, halloween, halloween. 8 more days 'till halloween, Silver Shamrock!" Try getting that out of your head :)

Heh heh...for some reason, the trashy/cheesy quality of Halloween II makes it more fun to watch than the original film...the really synthy-sounding score works too...

I'm doing these at my party this year. Hopefully, I'll have enough time to watch a few of them uninterupted.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
Nightmare Before Christmas I've grown very fond of Monster House as well. I also like to throw in some Universal classics, my favorite being the Creature. Wolfman is also great for Halloween.
