I have not had the chance to see either Cannibal Apocalypse or Cannibal Ferox. I have never seen Versus, The Prowler, Deathdream, or The Offspring although I really want to. And, from what I hear on this board, Ricky Oh is something I should see.

From my observations from other threads in this forum (sadly my good friends don't like horror) I would very much like to watch Pit and the Pendulum. Another film I missed the other night which I really wanted to see was Ravenous but unfortunately life got in the way.
Not a big fan of the slash genre so have no desire to see most of the modern films that have been out in the last few years. I would recommend you see Ringu though - that's one hell of a movie, but again not one for your slash, gore and special effects merchants.

Let me start off by saying if you're looking for something rare, try DCS Video Screams, whose ad is usually in the back of Fango. They have cheap prices and almost ANY movie you're looking for. Their movies are usually dubbed from Japanese laser disc or long out of print VHS tapes, so quality varies, but they're always improving masters and will replace anything you buy from them that is later made available in better quality.
I've located every horror movie I've been looking for; the last on my list was Terror Creatures From The Grave and I Walked With a Zombie, both of which I saw around Halloween (one on TV, the other on DVD). There are few 50s sci-fi movies (Colossus of New York) and spaghetti Westerns I want to see, though. And I can't find the sword-and-sandal movie Colossus of Rhodes, which was Sergio Leone's first film. What I really want is to see my faves on DVD and in widescreen: Deathdream, Curse Of The Werewolf, Taste The Blood Of Dracula, Dracula Has Risen From the Grave and The Conqueror Wprm among others. And I really, really want that Blind Dead boxed set to hurry up and come out. I've never seen the 3rd one uncut (or at least I don't think I have; all three of the versions I saw were pretty tame). |

The Fog was alright for 1980 I suppose but I've seen it twice so far and boths times I found myself a little bored. IMO it's just an average movie, nothing more nothing less.
