Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006)

I apologize if there is already a thread for this; I was unable to get the search function to work today. Anyhow, what is the deal with this flick? It sounds like Man Bites Dog, a French flick which I loved, but once was enough. I was going to go see it today but the documentary angle is turning me off. Opinions?

there's a thread in the "upcoming" section, but since it's been released...

Awesome fucking movie.

It simply should not work, but my buddy Scott Glosserman pulled it off in a huge way. The performances are amazing and the story is crafted by a real pro.

****SPOILER***

watch the credits all the way to the end:D
