Wrong Turn/My Little Eye/Darkness Falls

[Ghost]

Well. I saw all three of these within the space of about 8 hours. Instead of making three individual threads I thought I'de make one.

Darkness Falls. The introduction was pretty nice, the whole "banshee" style ghost was pretty cool. Despite my name I'm not a great lover of the ghost films but I did some what enjoy this. For me, there were no real scares, a few cool scenes & the appearance of the tooth fairy was cool.
Storyline wise I didn't greatly love. I mean everyone could some what appeal to the tooth fairy idea but for me I thought it was lame.
Characters. I didn't enjoy the characters, I normally like a certain character in each horror film for whatever reason but in this film I didn't have any character I liked. The kid was annoying, the girl Kateleen(anya from buffy) is hot but I didnt think much of her. The psycho main character didn't do much for me & the nerdy husband wasnt funny & I think they wanted a comedy approach by using him.
Overall..not great for me.

My Little Eye. For some weird reason this film really creeped me out. I dont wanna spoil the film but stop reading if you havent seen it..


The idea of it being a Snuff film really messed my head up. There wasnt any great horror scenes but I thought the dood with curtains when he snapped & suffocated the girl I was like WOAH! I think what got me was the idea of people paying support for to watch people kill each other.
Characters....BLAH..except I liked the guy with black spikish hair
Storyline, I quite liked, not greatly original but it was a cool idea.
Overall its pretty decent, but it will never be a classic of any sort.

Wrong Turn. Just watched this now with my gfriend. she is normally jumpy but it didnt do anything for her. I enjoyed this film. A few cool scenes, Eliza Dushku was pretty kool & looking beautiful as ever. The main dood was kool aswell, he wasnt the typical "hero", he just seemed a real character. I liked the storyline & i recommend people 2 get a look at this if they havent already.
