About Me: 
My diet consists of plants and fungi. I really enjoy studying edible wild plants and mushrooms and foraging for them. I really try to learn the edible invasive ( aggressive non native ) plants to heavily focus on them to help reduce their disruption to local ecosystems and biodiversity decline. I enjoy hiking, kayaking and biking. Though I don’t actually like camping. I like hiking 5-15 miles a day and returning back to my home to be with my cats. I have a 2 year old calico and a 2 year old male russian blue. I live alone although I’m in a relationship, just hit five years ( 2021 ) and unfortunately at this moment it’s long distance and has been for the last few years. Hopefully next year all the cards will play out and we can get married. Numerous set backs , especially with covid hitting and she’s from Asia. But it’s working good enough that we can see the light at the end of tunnel. I can’t stand winter. I like being outdoors and most of the parks , beaches and preserves are Dawn to Dusk places and I work 8-5 at a minimum and so by the time I’m off work it’s dark and the commute is 30-60 minutes depending on the job site. So I don’t really have time in the morning. That’s probably why I actually joined this forum is because I’m a bit bored lately. Social media in the last year has really been a outlet to meet some of the social needs I felt was waning for various reasons. I work in mostly construction in a family owned business. I enjoy it but I M wanting to get my general contractors licenses and really focus on modern designs with a minimalist touch , open floor plans and smaller houses. I want to place the create emphasis on affordable houses with larger yards that invite you outside with a far leaning ecological niche. So turning turf and chemicals into chem free yards and lots of plants to help combat the damage our species is doing through urbanization destroying habitats. One day I may even solely focus on landscape design and garden construction.
Interests: 
I’m big into environmentalism and focusing on making the world healthier for not only people but also other animals and plants. I like landscape design theory that focuses on ecology and biodiversity through native plants and animals. I like building science that focuses on family oriented spaces within subdivisions that are community focused and also fits within current affordability rates for lower middle class. I hope one day to expand that to the lower class as well including below poverty levels. I really enjoy theology. Though I more in the thought movements of Tim Mackie, Francis Collins, Douglas Jacoby , and NT Wright though there ar many others. I really like seeing how ancient Mesopotamian and Egyptian beliefs played a role in shaping Judaism which in return was the frame work for the Jewish and Greek layers of Christianity. The myths of genesis 1-11 are some of my favorite works that are hyperlinked to throughout the entire Tanakh. Also im obviously a horror fan. I went into more detail on my “ introduction “ concerning horror. But in a nutshell I watch and read horror weekly. It’s the bulk of my entertainment consumption with podcasts taking up even more. I like horror that plays to analysis, tropes and hyperlinks. Stuff with good character development, great plots and makes for a good intellectual tease. I have always liked horror from when I was a kid watching goosebumps and imagine this will last a life time. It’s only grown.
