Horror Film Fest & Screenplay Competition Returns to Los Angeles
The 4th Annual Screamfest Horror Film Festival & Screenplay Competition will take place Oct. 15th- 24th 2004 at Loews Universal Studios Cinemas at Universal CityWalk.
The premiere of "Cube Zero" opens the festival followed by the Opening Night Gala. Tickets are $35. Independent films from around the world will screen in competition over the 10-day event. The unrated director's cut of the 2004 remake of "Dawn of the Dead" is the closing night film.
Sunday Oct. 17th is "Scream-Pitch" where you can meet one on one with development executives. This event sold-out last year. Tickets available online.
Oct. 23rd a panel on the marketing and distributing of your short film. Panelists include IFILM's John Halecky, American Cinematheque, pollo Cinema, and entertainment attorney, Kaye & Mills.
At the closing night award ceremony Stan Winston will be honored with a Career Achievement Award. Tickets are $75.
