Vancouver city producer Shawn Williamson has made another deal with German producer-director Uwe Boll to turn a video game into a horror movie. This time, it's Vivendi Universal's Hunter: The Reckoning, which Williamson and Stephen Hegyes' Brightlight Pictures is adapting to film in Vancouver with Frankfurt-based Boll KG.

Boll and Williamson's last at-bat was the Atari game Alone In The Dark, which they shot here last summer, starring Christian Slater, Tara Reid and Stephen Dorff. Boll is also at work on "Dungeon Siege" and "BloodRayne".

hhmmm
Hmm...wait... If this one does well, then will there be 2 more sequels like they did with the game? (Rap music is what ruined "House of The Dead")

ugh
Let's pray he can pull this on off. When I first ever played that game (a long while back), the first thing i said was "this would make a perfect movie". if they can make that awesome priest guy ("Judge"), as awesome as he was in the game...this is hope.

I agree... crap director and a total crap movie. An absolutely lame attempt to cash in on the Zombie Movie, Game, everything Craze. "28 Days Later" is a masterpiece and sets the new highwater mark for zombie films.
