2007 Screamfest Horror Film Festival Winners Announced

Beverly Hills, CA (October 25, 2007) –  The 2007 Screamfest Horror Film Festival came to a close Sunday night packing the posh Highlands in Hollywood for the 7^th annual dinner/awards ceremony. The Thai horror film Alone (set to be released next year by 24 Frames and remade as well) scored four golden skulls while Jamie Blanks' Storm Warning took home two gold skulls.    Iqbal Ahmed won the Best of the Next in Horror award in addition to the $10,000 cash prize awarded by Boost Mobile.

Best Special Effects:   STORM WARNING  Justin Dix and Gab Facchinei
Best Makeup: INSIDE (A’L’INTERIEUR)
Best Actor: Everon Jackson Hooi (DEAD END)
Best Actress: Katie Featherstone (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY)
Audience Choice Award: WASTING AWAY
