What can anyone tell me about a trojan downloader virus, spyware doctor detects it, but I need to be able to get rid of it.....???

What anti-virus software are you running?
Trojan downloaders are/can be real nasty pieces of shit.Make sure everything is updated and go into safe-mode. (keep pressing F8 after the 1st/2nd screen. (1st screen could be your graphics card info.) 2nd screen is where it tells you what your computer is i.e ram etc.) You should see another menu select Safe mode. Sorry if you know it already as alot of people i find ...dont. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Dude...if you want it off your PC, bite the bullet and pay the 35 bucks to register your Spyware Doctor. Then run a scan, click "fix and continue" when it's done, and it'll remove the malware. How will you know it's been removed? When the program confirms it after doing it.
Just FYI, I'm not, like, a trolling Spyware Doctor programmer or anything. I've just been using it for a few years now and have yet to come across any kind of spyware/adware/malware/trojan/cws/BHO it can't remove -- including objects Adaware Personal and Spybot S&D, good as they are for no cost whatsoever, do not detect. Besides, if you don't have a restore disk for your OS then it's a matter of simple mathematics: A hundred and fifty or so bucks for a new OS, a couple hundred for a professional to fix it, several hundred for a new PC -- or 35 bucks to unlock the program. It ain't rocket science.

Any one had problems like this before? It's been happening for the last few days now. This sports forum i post on, well when ever i go to make a post, internet explorer has to close down. And if I try to start a new thread here the same thing, it also happens when I visit some other web pages.... what the fuck?
Any help out there?
