I still think the Village should be seen for historical purposes ..
The end of a promising beginning - and all that.
That is great LMAO! :p and very sadly true.....

I didnt mind The Village. Sure, nothing spectacular, but still enjoyable. I dont think it was nearly as bad as everyone says, although the ending was rather obvious....Who the fuck gets "mugged in an alley" back then? Thats what gave it away.

The biggest letdown would have to be the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.....the remake was 100 times beter! I heard a lot of buzz about how terrifying and gory the original was and decided to check it out BEFORE I saw the remake and IMO I cannot see why the movie had so many people freaked out when it was realeased in theaters. I mean COME ON, the only disturbing scene in the WHOLE movie is when......wait, I forgot, there were no disturbing scenes in the movie, my bad. Seriously though, everyone always mentions the scene where Sally is tied to a chair at the dinnertable, but all it is is her whiny ass crying and a close up on her eyeballs for like 10 minutes. WHOA that's entertaining! ::note sarcasm::. And for all the haters of the remake out there I just have to say ONE THING, you may not have liked it better then the original ::gag::, but you gotta admit, the suicide scene was awesome and somewhat original!

Stargate was another one for me ..

The ads made it look like it was the movie of all movies .. made for me personally. it appealed to everything I'd ever wanted in a movie ...
it started out well too .. and then once they got through the gate it turned into Beach Blanket Bingo ..
Low budget sand kicker ...

Kurt Russel was the only reason to waste the time watching that one..

The new 'TCM' had it's moments, but all in all it sucked. I'd be the first to admit some old, legless dude in a wheelchair could ever hold a candle to Emery, but he smoked him in scary department as far as I'm concerned.
