Wrapping up Season One of THE DEUCE and while the production values are incredible (the look of early 70's Time Square is fully realized) and good work by the cast means the story is keeping my interest, but nothing for repeat viewings and while this may sound odd coming from Me, many of the scenes of a sexual nature are extremely off putting, particularly when Maggie Gyllenhaal is "watching" a Movie with a "customer" and is interrupted by another member of the audience, not what You would think by this description.
Since the show is about Prostitution/Porn in the early 70's NYC and from HBO, there would be a certain amount of grittiness. But in many of the scenes, it's just too much and wish we had been allowed to imagine what's going on

The first two episodes of The Hot Zone on National Geographic. Enjoying it for the most part. However, being ex-military, how they're dressing the military members is annoying the absolute fuck out of me. All incorrect!
