Well, here we are folks. The final match of this tournament. 2 film classics, both of which are great movies in completly different ways, going head to head. This match is going to work at bit different, so pay attention:

- Instead of going to a set number of votes, this match will run for 48 hours, and whichever film has the most votes after that period will be crowned the champion. In the event of a tie after 48 hours, the first film to get a vote is the winner.

Everyone got that? Without further ado-

FINAL MATCH

In this corner, clocking in at 109 minutes, the 24 year old Sci-Fi/Horror classic that made amazing use of gore and effects to inprove on the original, The Thing from Another World...The Thing!!! The Thing has defeated many great films in the course of this tournament, including:
  • Return of the Jedi
  • Freddy VS Jason
  • Dracula [1992]
  • Army of Darkness
  • Terminator 2: Judgement Day

VS

And in this corner, clocking in at on avergae 117 minutes, the 40 year old film that capped off one of the greatest western series of all-time, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly!! Of course, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly also defeated some great movies on it's journey to the finals, such as:
  • King Kon [2005]
  • Kill Bill Vol. 2
  • Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
  • Night of the Living Dead 90
  • Empire Strikes Back

Let the voting begin!

EDIT- Forgot a movie in Good/Bad/Ugly's list.

2-1, The Thing still leads.

Info on predictions:

Two memebers predicted that The Thing would win the tournament. Since it has reached the final round, and none of the other predicted films have, these two members win the prize by default, no matter which film wins. The plan if none of the predicted films won was to award the prize to whoever predicted the film that made it the farthest. So Congreats Austin and Slasherman, I will send a PM detailing your prizes!
