fledgling by Octavia E. Butler- I cannot get past Chapter 8, I think this is borderline pervert shit.
The Yoga Mamas by Katherine Stewart- read this in 3 hours-very funny, I know those women! Fair Peril by Nancy Springer- so far, a very good little fantasy story.

I Will Rise by Michael Louis Calvillo
An incredible nihilistic joyride of a debut novel. I just started it, but this guy is the real deal. The prose leaps off the page and the story is like nothing I've encountered. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
