On my way home from work I picked up Tati's Playtime and De Sica's Bicycle Thieves.

Haha, no kidding, bud. It's getting ridiculous.

Nice buys!
The Mr. Hulot films are some of many that I need to buy. They're so great.

I picked up Repulsion today.

Didn't that just come out...today? Good grab- I watched a really awful transfer of that film a few months back and was thinking how luxurious a Criterion print would look.

I loooooooove Catherine Deneuve.

Oh man. You must check it out again.
Such a great, chilling movie.

Deneuve is amazing. You're absolutely right.

Fellini's 8 1/2

And, to right a wrong and fill a gap, and to keep a promise to my pal Fortunato,

Eyes Without a Face

Very excited to recieve this package.

Great purchases. Can't wait to hear what you think of either one.

Amazon has a lot for $19.95 too. I just bought 7 blu-ray titles all for that price!

Yeah I saw that- good price. It's only on blu, though, and I'm still far too poor for that upgrade.

Ok - so I waited to the last second, but I finally placed my order. Funds are shorter than I'd thought, so I only went for 2 Criterions:

- Eyes Without a Face
- Virdiana

Rounded out the order with Bertolucci'a 1900 (Novecento)...they had it on for $4, couldn't resist.

Very much looking forward to this package :)
