Eerie:
Day of the Dead: Bub's symphony. Kind of sad.
Prince of Darkness: All of it.
Dawn of the Dead 2004: The neighborhood scene.
Session 7: All of it. Is it horror?

Disturbing:
Lord of Illusions: The "binding" scene.
Fulci's splinter in the eye scene. What movie was that?
Exorcist: All of it.
Texas Chainsaw 2003: The ambient set design of the house.

Yeah....says it all about YOU anyway...

*One scene I thought was fucked up was in die hard...when he was pulling the glass shards outta his feet..
*LOTR1 - the cavetrolls "spear" in Frodos chest...it LOOKED painful.
*Anyone mention the fight club scene where "tyler" lets the club owner guy beat the shit outta him, then spills his blood allover the guys face?
*Oh yeah, I dunno if Ive said this before but in the move Castaway, when he's gotta "extract" his bad tooth....fucked up, but it DOES make me laugh every time...

I can understand the Day of the Dead scene, just the scream.

The slice in Pet Semetary

The curb scene in America X (or something like that), and the rape scene. Strange as I can watch female rape on TV and feel nothing (being female I think that's odd), but that scene made me feel physically sick

Thats all I can think of now, but I'm sure there will be a lot of others.

I watched this movie with a party of guys, and my mother. Nobody cringed when we saw that scene. Not one guy even flinched. It's like people say, something about 'too smart' to be hypnotized. Same situation here...

I don't think this is right, but there's a scene like that in the film Evil Clutch... Only the victim isn't an old guy.

Exclamation Disturbing...

When I was about 12 or 13, I saw this Troma movie - Frostbiter: Wrath of the Wendigo. And something about the production values for the film, put me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I didn't jump or anything, though I was shocked, but I was scared to death!!! The whole time.

The part that really disturbed me more than any other, and made me feel a lot of emotions come to think of it, angry and sad too, was in the shack after the hunter cooking the chili gets his hand bitten off. Another hunter, who I seem to remember lying in a cot, also eating chili- just suddenly BURSTS into flames. It's a very intense, agonizing scene. That I thought was very unfair, and I felt cheated in some way, and I was young but I was very upset by that.

Another movie, Sleepwalkers, really disturbed me and made me very sad. The ending, where Alice Krige's character is being attacked by cats. She stands there, and starts snapping cats in half as they jump on her. It reminded me of a VERY painful childhood memory of the death of one of my own cats. But even more, the scene when the cop is killed and I don't remember the scene well, his cat is rubbing up against his body and crying for attention- but the cat doesn't seem to realize his owner is dead. But the film is all the more powerful for including it, I think.

Cannibal Ferox a.k.a. Make Them Die Slowly, has possibly the most agonizing scene I have ever watched.

It involves large metal hooks and a bare breasted blonde.

It makes the meat hook scene in TCM look like fucking disney.
