I think the thing with the girl getting her legs burned was creepier than anything in the last 15 mins. of Audition but that's just me. I think I Spit On Your Grave had a lot of scenes that when I was younger and saw it was hard to watch like when that girl is raped for like the fourth time. The revenge she exacts too... ouch.

I don't know if anyone's said this recently, but Last House on the Left has got some pretty disturbing scenes.
The whole idea of the plot's a little frightening to me. Those girls were so young...

A couple of scenes that make me wince are the chopstick rape in "Bunman"(The untold story) and also the killing of the children scene .
Another one I find hard to watch isn't from a horror film it is a scene involving Gene Hackman in Nic Roegs "Eurika" involving a blow torch. A very similar scene to that one from Fulci's "Contraband" involving the same said instrument, but seems more gruesome and effective in "Eurika". |

Hmmm hardest scenes to watch...
Definately the turtle scene in Cannibal Holocaust(dont ask why its just that one scene, maybe the music) The nipple slicing in Ichi the killer. The hammer and teeth pulling in Old Boy All of Last House on the Left. Any of the Guinea Pig movies.

Secondly if you have Netflix you can burn any movie you order and amass a huge collection. Thirdly Men behind the Sun is ..Not my qoute This is a "voyeuristic insight" into Japanese atrocities that they committed on the Chinese in World War II. They used the Chinese as "guinea pigs in gruesome experiments to create mutated plague bacteria used for bacterial warfare." They claim that the Japanese government wished that this story would not be known and that it will "provoke, anger and sicken." They also say that this film is a "chilling, realistic portrait showing the brutal torture and experimentation that took place in the Japanese terror camps."

Men Behind the Sun is very strong.
Don't watch it if you are a cat lover. To give you an idea of how strong it is, the use real corpses in the movie and also perform a real autopsy on a young boy. I have it in my collection but have only watched it once as I found it a very difficult film to sit through. |
