you know, that is a singular curse in society today... they way the people you meet say "how's it going?" and if you answer "oh, it's really terrible, I am dreadfully unhappy!" they will just say "oh well, jolly good, you take care now!"...

why do they even ask you in the first place?

in any event, no matter what the 'other side' was that's no reason to say all that mean stuff. although that diss about the music was just funny - but then not really so funny as it seemed to betray a very bigoted attitude...
