I'd just like to say how amused I am that an entire thread is devoted to my top 100, especially since it was started by someone else, and people are responding like they actually take it somewhat seriously

Sam, How is it that you have never seen Full Metal Jacket??? This and Platoon would be tied up on my list. Ermey gives the performance of a lifetime although I dont think that it was really acting being that he is a Marine Corp. drill sarg.

Also how come I dont see Jaws on the list?? Quints recount of the USS Indianapolis is a haunting story and I have to be honest, I have always felt that Jaws was the scariest movie of all time.

Lot of others on the list I agree with, although not in the order, and some I dont.

Interesting list though was glad to see Deliverance, love that fucking movie.

Have you seen HERO? Friend got an import copy and it is one of the best foreign films I have ever seen.

I had a copy of FMJ back in the day (VHS), but part of it was cut off at the beginning so I always meant to get a copy, but the fact that I had it already always kept me from buying/renting it. Now that I've got Netflix, I'll see it.

I've seen Jaws, I love the movie, and it may make the list yet. I gave it, IIRC, ****3/4, but I might see it sometime again and decide it's good enough to get another 1/4*, which would all but guarantee it makes the list (there are one or two ***** movies not on the top 100, so it's not 100%)

I haven't seen Hero, but it's one of the three movies that will be out soon at the theater near me (One of three theaters, actually, but this one has better chairs, so it's the one we go to;) ), so I'll see it eventually

Nice cast, inappropriate placement of Weird Al music, Galvatron, but the humans annoyed the shit out of me, and the Matrix screamed Deus Ex Machina
HA! so did Donnie Darko.....LITERALLY!!!

Haha, anyway....all good responses.....and you gotta see some of these movies....

Ya Gattaca owns your ass HB....

well anyways, the list is out of date. I haven't updated it since the beginning of the summer, so there's at least one movie added (not saying what it is) which means Versus will no longer be on the list :p

I notice that nobody's mentioned A Face in the Crowd. Has anybody here seen it?
