If you're looking for an example of what a WYSIYG editor SHOULD be, check out the one built into the Mozilla web browser. I love it. If I really need to see a constant preview of my site, I use that.

Meh, i edit in VS, and just view in IE if i want to knwo how it looks. I have the template to my site honed tosuch an art, that when i create different themes for it, all i have to do is image editing for the textures, and simple modifications to the style sheets. it's pretty simple, but amzingly effective :)

The Mozilla editor does a very good job of keeping things clean and standards compliant, so you have cross browser-OS compatibility.It's free and it does the job much better than some commercial products I've tried.

Ah-hah. Cross-browser compatability... That is why I stopped using inline frames for my menus. One nice thing about ASP .Net, is that it generates HTML tags on the fly, based on what browser you are using. if your browser doesnt understand <span> tags, no biggie, it uses <div>.

The big thing is that ASP .Net contains actual programming, as opposed to scripting (like vbs or Javascript). Whats funny, is that without a knowledge of Javascript, ASP .Net isnt really very impressive.
