Supposedly the "ring leader" has been caught in this one, Michael. Her name is Makayla Smith and she's 22 years old. 3 other juveniles were working with her. Wtf.

According to Kristen Quon with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 11pm Thursday after a caller reported seeing a clown lurking near Poplar Ridge apartments.

The caller reported seeing a clown waving at the end of a parking lot, telling deputies when he tried to approach the clown, it ran into a wooded area.

Deputies responded to the scene, but did not find anything.

Officials said they are keeping an eye out in that area to ease people’s concerns.

If you see anything suspicious you are asked to call police.

Clowns spread to state of Kentucky.

New trend? They're just pulling off what happened two years ago in France...and in this case mind you people, cause people gut hurt here, and in some places clown costumes on Halloween are forbidden now.
