Well, I picked up this movie out of bordemn. I had very low expectations for this movie because of these reviews. It was ok and better than I thought. The first half of the movie was so damn slow and boring. It was a waste of time and it was like the director just wanted to kill some time. Then it picked up and built a little suspense. The ending was abrupt and lame. Its worth a rent I think but its no where near to "The Hills have Eyes" remake. I think this movie and Hostel fall short and both could have been better.

It definetly took a while before anything happened, but once it did, it became alot better. I think the Australian Psycho was a refreshing change, but they could have taken it a lot further then they did.

I thought the movie was terrible. I had hope at the beginning because the one girl seemed smart and there would a cat and mouse thing going, but somewhere she got really dumb and it ruined it for me. I have some questions to ask about the movie?
Don't read on if you haven't seen it and want to see it.

Why did the killer tie up the girl's hands in front of her body? If I want to tie up someone, I would tie their hands behind their back.

If you had a killer, who was going to torture and rape your best friend, passed out in front of you. Would you:

a. Bash his head in with the butt of the rifle.
b. Reload the rifle and shoot him in the head.
c. Grab one of the other guns on the table and shoot him with it.
d. Hit him in the back a couple of times with the stock of the rifle.

If you guessed d you win the idot award.

Anyone know why she climbed down the pit. Did she think she would find a car down there?

At any point did she even think about looking for the guy. She really forgot about him really quick. And why the hell did it take him so much longer to wake up?

How the hell did the killer know which car she would get into? Was he a psychic serial killer? There were like four or five cars.

Whatever happened to the handgun she found and took the time to find bullets for?

Just a few questions, I have more but I thought these were enough. The movie was a bore, and I hate any movie where the victims act so idiotic.

Well supposedly all that shit really happened so I guess you can chalk it up to standard human stupidity. But yeah, the movie sucked dick.
