That was some obscure late 50s singer named Mark Dinning who never had another hit again. He was kinda like Fabian and Frankie Avalon Another golden-oldie-death-rock number is "Take Good Care of my Baby" all about the teenager who dies and requests that they take good care of his baby until she eventually dies and meets him in Heaven. Ahhh...the 50s....so idealistic and cautiously optimistic!
