Why am I thinking there is a joke in here somewhere like what do you get when you cross KingArthur and James Bond. Answer King James. Oh well at least there are now 2 actors being considerd for the role of James Bond 007.

Hi Arioch thats cool if you dont like James Bond but some people do enough so that Pinewood studios has been making James Bond 007 movies since 1962. Not to mention the Bond series is the 2nd longest running movie series in movie history.

Indeed. Pinewood is also the place Aliens was filmed, along with a million other movies.

I hope who ever plays Bond in the next movie will be as good as Brosnan. [/B]
"Casino Royale" was actually made for American TV. It was on CBS and it starred American actor Barry Nelson as Bond. It aired on Oct 21, 1954 as part of the series "Climax Mystery Theater"(Perfect name for a Bond show) it also starred Peter Lorre as the villian "Le Chiffre" and Linda Christian as the first "Bond Girl". Even though it was made in Hollywood it totally lacked any of adventure and style that the "Official" Bond movies would later have.

As for the David Niven film, the only thing I liked about the movie was the poster and the Herb Alpert music.

I didnt know Casino Royale was made here in the USA I just knew it aired on the BBC in 1954. Very intersting. I am not much of a fan of the Bond spoof Casino Royale with Sellers and Nevin. I prefer the Pinewood movies and speaking of Pinewood one of my fave Dragon movies was produced by them DragonSlayer. I love that movie.

You could be right Arioch DragonSlayer might very well own Bond. I was thinking if you cross Dragon Slayer with James Bond you get Dragon Heart a movie where former James Bond actor Sean Connery plays the role of the Dragon.
