hres a question, i guess applies to mirth since hes already out of HS. but arent AP classes in high school a LOT harder than actual college courses? at least it seemed lke it to me (seeing as all the work other AP classes had to do... german AP was bullshit)

AP classes in HS and FUCK NO. well it kinda depends on what college you go to.

Community college= Ap classes are way harder.

Real Universitys= Ap classes are like a day at the beach.

College is hard as shit.........not bvecause of the material but just cause you are on your on and you dont have anyone telling you to study and telling you to go to bed and shit. but the content of the courses are hard as shit to dont let me fool ya...:mad: :mad:

at least to me when my friends had AP classes all i heard abou was 'omg i have to buy all these books for summer assignment. i haev to write this and tape this and turn in this blah blah'

also they had to read a SHITLOAD. lots of HW/ quizzes and tests too

at my university, ur grade was based on 3 ctests (oopsy). basically do the rading, show up to class, pass the tests. i did the the reading half asses, went to class 0 times and pretty much ONLY passed the test due to a curve (gotta love it when 55% each on 3 test amounts to a C+ ALLLRIGHT)

problem was, like u said, NO motivation.

now the college im at now, a community college, you HAVE to go to class. also, at the UNI it was 10 week semesters, meaning 3 big ass test all in 10 weeks. same system here, except over 16 weeks. also there are quizzes every week, an assignment here and there, a paper, an a couple extra credits. more work yes, but at least these help ur grade especially when its so easy to get 100% on all of em

teaching urself IS rough though, the 2 cop course im taking now im taking online. if i were to do it over again, the more law oriented one i would do in class. its hard as fuck trying to discern between voluntary and involuntary manslaughter.. etc etc. whereas this next one is more like a criminology class, history and psychology of crime. this one is easy, althouh reading is a bitch. BUT if i really do dedicate like 6 hours to it then yeh, its doable ;)

NO SHIT fluff they say that you gotta do likke 3 hrs for every hr you spend in class and shit and i used to be all like FUCK THAT but now im like studying all that damn time. i think i have finally learned that colloege aint no joke after being in it 3 yrs. and ummm it took me way to long to figure it out.

lol. dunno if this is ur 3rd or 4th year, but i been in 3 years too. actually, this is my 3rd year.

anyway in AP classes i swear EVERYDAY it was 2-3 hours of work. in college id say each of my classes.. 2-3 hours of work a WEEK. know what im sayin? thats speaking for both UNi and community.

and those 2-3 hours are fuckin taking my time, cooking, painting nails while studying.. and i tend to get straight A's too so i dunno, maybe im super genius or some shit? well, medium genius at least :p

i will say though every week i hafto read here at comm due to weekly quizzes. but at UNI it was only tests covering 4-5 chapters, meaning the night before id be reading like 10 hous striaght lol. usually though id stop after like 20 minutes.

but ummm the ten hrs before the test would be roughly 2 more hrs a day plus the 2 hrs a week lol if you wanna break it down like that........ I dunno i dont study newar as much as i should i try to look over it 1 time a day but you know how that goes especially in this small ass town when there is nothing to do cept drink and then drink some more.

anyways now im at COMM and the make u go to class an shit so its a lot easier. ia ctually like it here a lot better at the uni. like they actualy care about u learning, than just wanting to get throug the lecture and go home.. know what im sayin?

self motivation is a bitch though so at least in my other 2 classes i have my best friend in there. im gonna hafto work on that shit though cuz i still hvae fuckin 3 more years of school to go LOL.. UGH. all this work for what? I DONT NKOW. well ok the BA wil be nice i guess, but the only reason im doing it is for the car. makes me wonder "is 6 years of this bullshit really worth it" then i remember its a $60,000 car that either i can have at 23 or buy myself when im... 40? anyway, gives me more time to sit around and be lazy before i hafto actually join the academy and get buffed up.

YA major universitys dont give a fuck about you learning they already have your money and they could really care less about your measly lil 2000 a semester LOL and comm. colleges are like 2000 dollars omg hell yeah then we are gonna give you the best education EVER. hehe kinda funny how that shit works. but when you are 30 and you do have that car that you bought yourself i bet you will be sooooooooooooooo happy that you went through the 6 yrs of college.

Im trying to be as lazy as i can for as long as i can also . hahaha
