You can't have Ash without casting Bruce Campbell. You just can't. There is no way anyone could play that character and I think New Line will be smart enough to recognize that.

It’s true. FANGORIA has learned that New Line Cinema is seriously considering adding Ash (Bruce Campbell) to the inevitable FREDDY VS. JASON Round Two that the studio has in development. This is not some Internerd rumor, though the notion has been tabled out there in horror fandom for months. Sure, we’ve heard about other permutations for a follow-up to the blockbuster rumble (everything from FREDDY VS. JASON VS. LEATHERFACE to …VS. CHUCKY to …VS. MICHAEL), but the Ash scenario, evidently, is the only one that New Line is treating as a legitimate idea. We’ll keep you updated.

Yet the article doesn't say New Line has confirmed it. New Line is "Considering" adding Ash and it's a "Legitimate idea".

Nothing say's that he is going to be in it.

I know what the article says, I also pointed out very specifically, just for dumbasses like you, that this is not the same article that I made the post about. What I saw wasn't an article, just a little blurb. This was 'considered' as a 'legitimate idea' back in October. Now it is May, and New Line has purchased the rights. If you read a little bit more carefully, maybe next time you won't make youself look like such a fuckin' douchebag.

I found the link above on the Fangoria website. It's from October, but I never said anything about going to find that magazine. (Hell, it might not even be in their magazine for all I know, I got it off their website.) I told you that if you wanted PROOF, then go get the CURRENT ISSUE of Entertainment Weekly for the little blurb about New Line purchasing the rights.

You're right. I should have just ignored him completely from the get go.

Evis, I'm done with this. I know that you will probably continue trying to carry this on (after you get out of school.), but I'm done. Obviously, you don't care what anyone on here thinks of you, but I do happen to care what some of the people think of me. (Not you, of course, but the normal, non-asshole type people.)
