How long have you been working for the railway?

Almost eight years, five years as a train guard and its nearly three as a driver. The change in careers I took was the best thing Ive done but it is a trip into the unknown a little. If you're unhappy where you are there is no real point staying, it'll just become a millstone around your neck.

I work for Amazon.com. Right now I manage the flow of the warehouse and make sure that all orders get out on time for the day. I make a decent wage, plus monthly bonuses and free transportation (they provide me with a yearly bus pass) plus a chunk of stock every year.

It can be a lot of fun, and sometimes really frustrating. I generally enjoy what I do, however, and there are a ridiculous amount of different departments and job options throughout the company. If I ever get burnt out, I'll just try to move to another department (which I'm currently in the process of.)

All in all, not bad considering Amazon is one of the safest companies in the world at the moment to work for in this economy. I could bitch a little bit about my salary for how much work I do, but I have endless job security at this point unless I do something incredibly stupid.

That sounds like a decent job Flayed. I could get into doing that myself. Really cool how they give you a yearly bus pass

Where is the Amazon warehouse located? I would love to work there. I order all the time.
