So you edited your post in your welcome thread, that's great, but not before you were quoted by Chrono.

So you have conflicting opinions with yourself, fantastic.

cannibal modern day classic?

i would class it as a modern day classic example of the cannibal exploitation film jaundre.
Its up there at the top along with Cannibal Ferox as the mother of all cannibal movies.
What Devil-Hunter is trying to relay is that he likes the film ,but, he does not see it as a classic --his version of a classic is like older movies i think-??
However cannibal holocaust is a classic in its own jaundre , cannibal movies are all mostly compared to Holocaust, its like the Gone With The Wind of cannibal films--I personally love the film...animal deaths or not... its a classic amoung video nasties!!! and if your sad and havent seen it -download it and have a look..but remmember its only a film, nobody got hurt..or did they?;) LOL

If you look in the list of forums, you will see "Classic Horror" is defined as horror filmes of the 60s and BEFORE.

This forum is for discussion of classic horror films, as defined on HDC- not whatever films you happen to love from your childhood.

I don't know- are n00bs unable to read? We have to go through this every time we get one.

And there's an active thread about the film in Modern Horror, where it belongs. Why do we need TWO?

After all the talk about this movie I wanted to see it. I stayed with my bro this past week and his boyfriend is a HUGE horror buff. He happened to have an extra copy( that and Zombie) so I watched it the other night and I must say I thought a was a great movie.

It was very raw. Alot of WOAH moments and the music was great. I loved the song in the opening credits(totally contrast to the contents of the movie) Great, I'm glad I finally got to see it(besides the animal deaths).

I tried watching this about a month ago and stopped after about 30 minutes. I think it was a combination of seeing the first animal killing (which was really unnecessary and brutal), watching some savage shove various foreign objects in that woman's vag...finally killing her, and then some guy whipped out his shlong to confuse the cannibal tribe. It was just like a gross-out overload. Maybe I'll just man up and watch it again...
