OOO! OOO! OOO! ME TOO!

Haven't started it yet, though... I need to finish The Raw Shark Texts first (I have this problem with starting books and then never finishing them... I am DETERMINED to finish this one)...

Mayhaps, in the meantime, I shall bother ol' Doc for his John Hancock...

This book is really good. I'm up to page 66. I urge everyone to pick up a copy. Really intriquing read so far.

I have finished reading Murderland I - h8 and I pronounce it very good. It's exciting, it's twisted, it's engossing, thought provoking, enjoyable, wickedly bizarre.

It's not a perfect novel, but it's his first. I am ready to read the next volume. When does it come out?

On a side note, your publisher desperately needs a proofreader. There are spelling mistakes, punctuation errors, words left out here and there... it's not your fault, Doc, I realize, but every time I see an error in print it bugs me.

I give this book a solid 83% out of 100- with 100 reserved for the likes of Bradbury, Vonnegut & Ellison. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I will write a revue for Amazon & my blog soon.

Raw Shark Texts gets much cooler as it goes along. I'm still on the fence about whether it's a Bizarro novel or not, because it has a lot of Bizarro sensibilities.

I wholeheartedly agree. I typed up the editor's comments myself and I probably could have used a third opinion somewhere along the line. As small press books get more profitable, there are more human resources. Life During Wartime (yes, named for the Talking Heads song) comes out in October.

That was great. I actually found myself reading a good portion of the book aloud to myself as I read it. You have a great ear for language. The book is mostly inner dialogue so it really sounds good aloud.

I'm glad you could feel that. I write out loud whenever it's socially acceptable and I'm always pounding out the meter of things. It's a habit I got when I started translating poetry.

Just got that shirt the other day. I'm glad there's more Joker merchandise on account of the movie. I almost just wore a black t-shirt, but my girlfriend saw a Harley shirt at Hot Topic and she wanted us to match, which was really cute of her. And thanks for the compliment on the reading. I was sort of bummed that nobody showed up, but at least it made me less jittery so I could read better than I expected I would.
