Barbie Girl by Aqua. I still can't beleive that the members of that band were not hunted down, dismembered, and strung up after the release of that song, because they fucking should have been.
Ah, fuck it, I'm going to go and do it myself!

Turn on any given pop radio station at any random time of the day, and you'll find either my answer or a damn good runner up.

Lets prove my point...turning on the local pop station right now and I hear:

"Umbrella" by Rhianna.

Case in point.

Kid Rock's cover of "Feel Like Making Love." God-awful. I shit you not, the first time I heard it on the radio, the DJ turned it off after not even thirty seconds and swore he'd never play it again!

Mariah Carey's cover of Def Leppard's "Bringing on the Heartbreak" is a very close second. Dave Navarro played guitar for it; lost a whole lotta respect for him after that.:(

many many songs grate at my nerves - but the all time worst is the Chicago song - Does anybody really know what time it is (of course i hate almost everything by Chicago and Air Supply and Journey for that matter). i was once stuck in an elevator and for the entire five or six minutes we were dangling mid-shaft that Chicago song was playing. i had hated it before - but gained a new level of animosity during that horrible period.

Anything from Journey, Chicago, Asia, Jefferson Starship, Air Supply and any other trash band from the late 70s/early 80s who felt the need to fill every album with horrible power ballads

Well, if we're talking content and foulness, it'd be alot of ICP's material, but if we're talking just plain dumb, then "Laffy Taffy" falls into that category. Remember? "Shake that laffy taffy girl!" or however it went, lol, to think it was banned from a local pop/R&B station here.
