My favorite part of the film.

You NEVER see that in any studio release, only in a nasty, filthy film. Fucking brilliant moment, I loved the hell out of it.

I particularly enjoyed the videogame comment... so tongue in cheek it was great.

***** SPOILERS *****

Got around to see it yesterday, what an experience! Both movies are excellent, although I did like Planet Terror's over the top style a bit more. The small motorcycle ride is a classic in my book, and hats off for having the balls to do the Kid with a gun scene. And the trailers! "They chose the wrong Mexican to fuck with!!"

Is this movie making money now with all its rave reviews from critics and moviegoers?

I finally got to see grindhouse last night, monday 5-01-07, really liked it maybe the best film this year. Rose McgGowen was great in planet terror.
One thing though i wonder how she could fire that gun. I think if there was a string or a chain attached to the trigger that she would have to "yank" on to fire the weapon would have been real nice and looked real cool on film. But besides that it was a great time. And based on boxoffice maybe the last time we expirience something like this, as far as double features go.

it tanked miserably:mad:

Guess it's just too cool for the general public. Only the most devoted and demented film fans (like most of us here) know and love the source material that these two guys paid tribute to.

Everyone else thought it was a bad idea. I'm just happy they got it made - it'll kill in DVD and be a true cult classic.

Hey, at least the bad box office reception could possibly give it a DVD release quicker.

I seem to be the only one of the reviews I read that liked "Werewolf Women of the SS". I'd love to see film versions of all of the trailers though. Great movie.

Does anyone know when "Machete" is supposed to be released?
