that actually got me thinking - along the lines of the marvel universe ..

someone should do a 'superfriends' type thing where the a-list action stars are in a comic book ... they could have a b-list group as well (van damme/segal/the transporter dude. etc)

and a group of the asian martial artists guys.

the bad guys would be .. the teen actors from the romantic comedies ..

I remember getting all excited when Clint and Burt Reynolds teamed up [ when Burt was at the top of his career ]. It was less than magic.

City Heat was a shame for a lot of reasons.

Clint got Burt started in the business .. they were always friends and Clint was a sort of mentor to Burt. The chance to work together at last didnt pan out as hoped.

It was also the start of a lot of problems for Burt when a stuntman accidentally broke a real chair over his back (instead of the break-away chair) which ended up in a long time injury - with Burt hooked on booze and painkillers ..

no magic for anyone :(

City Heat did have a lot of good parts though. i always liked Clint's game of Sleeper.

Back in February, there was a rumor circulating that Stallone and Arnie will be working together in a movie called "Brutal Deluxe", which would begin filming once Arnie's term as Governor ended. No idea what happened after that...
