I don't expect this movie to be scary but rather make you tighten-up or cering b/c of the violence on the screen.

ok, i saw tcm: the beginning on oct 3, anyone else get a chance to see it free?? the theater was packed. it was pretty good overall. it gives you the background of how the hewitt family got as fucked up as they are. there's a ton of "gotcha" moments, i saw people jumping all throughout the movie. some very nice chasing scenes but the killin' left a little to be desired. i'm definitely glad i saw it on the big screen. oh yeah, just like the remake from '03, it's gore-packed. :-)

I'm looking forward to it! I want to see what happens to a person to make them so screwed up. I'm going tomorrow afternoon, first show. Can't wait.

By the way, they always say that TCM is based on a true story. Exactly what is the true story? Anyone know?

Like many other movies/stories it's loosely based on Ed Gein.

ok i got to see TCM The Beginning tonight and....and.....i am soooo dissapointed!

1.mask was kinda gay even tho it di dremind me of corey taylors slipknot mask lol

2.even tho andrew b. still played him it felt liek it was a totalyl diferent leatherface...and he was skinnier....wtf

3.kinda liked and disliked that everyone died.....you dont see that in too many horror films these days so i guess it was a good idea.

4.not enough chainsaw killing or killing period

idk i just thought it was a let down mostly

1) Which mask, the one covering his mouth or the first mask he made from human flesh? B/c the first human mask should look a little sloppy since its his first mask, but I think it resimbled the mask from the remake preety well for a fresh face, I think by the tiem we get to the reamke his mask should look a little worn down.

2) I thought it still felt like the same Leather Face. I didn't notice he was skinnier. But if he was I would think he would be b/c he's younger in this movie.

3) Everyone had to die b/c if one got away then they would have told someone what happened out there and you wouldn't have the remake.

4) This movie had more chainsaw killing than the remake. I watched the remake right before I saw the prequal and the prequal was the first time I've ever seen leather face run a chainsaw through someone's back and hold them up on the chainsaw while it was still cutting on screen, I think in the remake they only show parts. In the prequal they showed alot more I thought.

Overall I thought that it was just rediculously graphic and violent, not scary.
