You mean like the original Cinderella when the stepsisters start hacking parts of themselves off so they can fit their feet into the glass slipper.... :p

Fairy tales= Snow White, Little red ridding hood, Hansel and Gretal ec. ect.

They used to be alot darker than the wayyyyyyy watered down Disney versions they've become today.

Yep, if you're confused, that is always the right answer. :p

Austin is right, fairy tales were brutal morality tales.

They were used to scare kids into acting right. And some were just dark folklores.

In the original Hunchback of Notre Dame, he and the girl were both hunted down and killed at the end.

... but it still had those lovable singing gargoyles.

So how did the real "Hans and Gretel" end? :(

i remember recoding my own fucked up version of it on a tape recorder when i was 4. It had several versions of the ending. 1st version: Dad greets them and says "mom is dead". 2nd: Dad greets them and says "Grandma is dead". 3rd: Dad greets them and says "Grandpa is dead".

Wonder why i bothered??

Never strucked me as scary though?

I honestly couldn't accurately tell ya, it's been a long time since I've read any of 'em. I remember what I've told you because I did a project on it in high school.
