None of them were banned, forced to leave, or are unable to be here due to some life-threatening illness. They chose to leave of their own free will. I'm sure they'll still be in touch with whomever they usually spoke to via IMs and e-mail. I don't see any purpose to making a big deal about leaving when you've basically told everybody that you'll somehow be unable to enjoy their company. It's still the same people here. Considering huge flame wars, name calling and cussing are supposed to be against the rules in the first place, what has really changed at all ? Just because everyone had to be reminded once again when things got out of hand shouldn't lead to this lemming mentality of everyone running for the exits (especially if they want to make a scene about it). People come, people go. It's a web site. It happens.

If things aren't going to be "the same" without invasions from people like Bane tolerated, and 5-page-long arguments spinning out of control, people ripping noobs a new one instead of just some friendly ball busting...then I for one don't mind. - B
