Yes, my understanding is a mass murderer kills many people in one incident while a serial killer kills several people (at least three I think) over a more extended period of time; weeks, months or years.

I don't think it is strictly random, meaning they follow a set pattern usually, like they might only kill someone with a certain hair color or body type. And yes, they usually take something or leave something, they have a modus operandi.

I'm still trying to decide what the greatest compliment I have ever received is......after all, there have been so many.....:rolleyes: No seriously, I have to think about that, but the first time my husband said I was beautiful, I melted, simply because he was the first person to say it that I felt actually meant it, it was genuine.
