Holy shit... john gulagan is a bitch....

Not only is he completely incapable of conveying a simple idea, but he apparently got involved to try and give his freinds and family their big break....

He will be terrible and i really do hope they fire him.

I actually like his father Clu,[ Into the Night, Hunters Blood,Return of the Living Dead ] and it looks like he WILL be in this according to IMDB, as well as Henry Rollins and Jason Mewes.

I love Rollins, he is a pretty kool guy. He was at a book store one time doing poetry readings. Its kind of funny to see a guy like him reading poetry, not that there is anything wrong with it, it is just that people see him in a stereotypical way if you get my meaning.

I knew I knew Gulagers father from somewhere. I wonder if that has anything to do with the reason why they picked John.

I wouldnt sell out Gulager just yet I think that he needs a little time to sort things out and get himself into the groove. It is his first feature film, and besides that it seems to me that he has lived his life, or most of it anyways, as somewhat of a hermit, and doesnt communicate well with people that he is not familiar with.

I am sort of like that, I am quiet until I know ya and then I only say something when I think it is important. I really dont see the point in useless babble just to fill the air with conversation.

I felt like the casting director was a total bitch, and didnt take criticism well. ALso I think that the producers are a little on the whinny side. WHo the fook do they think they are working with,Scorcese???? Give the poor slob, half of shirt hanging out, a break already.

I am sure that every director started out this way and everybody thought that working with him or her was a big pain in the ass.

I thought that trying to cast the whole family in the film was a bit over the top and they need to reign in that shit right now.

I also think that this script sucks, and can only imagine what other shit they recieved if this is the best of the best that was handed to them. Sorry this script sounds like Tremors in a way, maybe I am wrong we will see.

These 2 writers are alreadly getting agents and meeting with lawyers and such, I think they are in for a rude awakening.

All and all, I think what I have always thought about people in the movie business, they are a bunch of money hungry assheads and dont give 2 shits about making a quality picture just about making money.

I agree, the script sounds like shit, but gulager has already shown himself to be comkpletely selfish. He wasnt even interested in hearing anyone else's opinion on actors, he just wanted his freinds and that was that.

If i was the casting director, i would have told him to be flexible, or we would take the decision making away from him completely. he ISNT scorcese, he doesnt have the clout to make the final decisions on everything.

He is pissing away an opportunity, and based on what he is showing on tv, he is probably killing any chance he would have to direct for someone else. Why would any company hire a nobody with a reputation for being a pain in the ass who waffles when asked a question?

Granted....so far he looks like a big doofus and a wee bit on the eccentric side. But he wouldn't be the first director to fit into that catergory.
But like you say...this is his first opportunity and it doesn't thus far look to good.

After watching this show I don't know why anybody would want to get involved in the movie making process.
The studio wants a good movie but their not willing to fund it . The producers have to go to outside sources to get the $$$.
At least the director is coming around a bit which is good because I think if they let him do the movie he wants it could be very good. Keep it dark instead of going with a horrody or comedorror......???!!whatever.
