RESULTS OF THE HUNTING ZONE OUTING NUMBER THREE
As soon as the SnD team ran into the Zone, all of them looked at each other with a knowing look. A silent understanding ran through all of their eyes and they all gave an almost imperceptible nod to each other. They then dispersed into various parts of the Zone almost immediately. They were followed in by the Phantoms, one of them heavily bandaged from head to toe. It was obvious MissM was in some considerable pain and still very weak for this outing, and they all discussed this for a minute before dispersing themselves. SECTOR A: Rayne looked left and right through her fiery eyes, gritting her teeth. She was sure her target had headed this way because she had seen it's receding figure. Sure enough, she chanced upon her who was trying to hide behind the big boulder near a clearing. Rayne took careful aim, and fired her Grenade Launcher. THUNK! Nightmare of Death whirled. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The grenade landed right at her feet, and exploded with all fury. NOD was thrown back, the front of her shirt simultaneously dripped in a spurt of her fresh, hot blood. She fell heavily on the rocks behind her, and that knocked the wind out of her for an instant. Rayne stared at her with hate-filled eyes, then dropped her now-empty and smoking-barrel Grenade Launcher. NOD reached for her HPs, and Rayne looked at her right and blew a slow whistle, like a signal. By the time NOD had recovered enough to pick up her weapon, Rayne had disappeared. Demon Seed knew who would be his target. And he also knew he had to act fast. He sat behind the huge yew tree and waited, quietly and anxiously. A white-silhouetted figure broke through the bushes far on his left, scanning the surroundings and apparently limping and having a lot of difficulty in walking. DS knew who it was instantly. He lifted his Grenade Launcher. THUNK! Sector F: MissMacabre turned, and dived back without thinking. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The explosion shook the ground. MissM was unsteady already, and diving back did little to protect her. Several bandages from her body were blasted to bits, and fresh crimson blood oozed through her numerous sore wounds from earlier. She fell to the ground heavily and screamed loud in pain. She grabbed at her last 2 HPs desperately as her eyes strained towards DS's direction. She let go of her HPs instantly, and lifted her weapon. DS's eyes widened, and he turned to sprint. THUNK! KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The grenade exploded at the same instant it hit DS's back. His back was torn apart in an instant, as he went flying forward with a loud yell. Thick blood spurted out from his half-blackened gaping wound, and DS screamed as his hands reached for his HPs. MissM put down her weapon, and pulled out her remaining 2 HPs. She closed her eyes and fell back, Slightly Wounded. Freak heard the huge explosions coming from his far right. He hurried forward, eager and keen to engage whoever he came across. He stopped suddenly in mid-stride and turned to his left. Someone was rustling through the bushes! Freak sat down quickly, and peered in that direction. He could make out the outline of a figure slowly crawling on all fours inside the bushes, going towards the opposite direction. He took a couple steps forward, and immediately recognition sparkled through his eyes. He knew he had seen that jacket before! Freak lifted his Grenade Launcher, aimed, and pulled the trigger. THUNK! KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The grenade landed on NOD's right, and before she could think anything, it exploded angrily in her face. The skin on her upper chest and neck ripped off, swelling up immediately with thick globs of blood everywhere! She rolled over on her back and sighed, closing her eyes. A weak hand reached for her HPs, and Freak stood up, dropping his now-empty weapon. (Contd.)

Sector H:
Groundzero2424 instantly turned. The explosions sounding off on his far left indicated that some of the hunters had started the hunting. He knew his quarry might head to where he was, so his eyes started running in all directions for a good place to hide. He didn't have the time, however. NOD came running into the clearing from his left and stood for a second, surveying the area in front of her. GZ froze where he was, then licked his lips. Up came the Grenade Launcher. THUNK! Nightmare of Death heard the ugly sound, and zipped forward without looking. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! GZ had aimed at the spot slightly in front of NOD, so when the grenade hit the ground and exploded, the last thought resonating through NOD's shaking brains was "SHITTTTTTTTT!" She fell heavily to her right, and bit her lips to stop the excruciating pain from enveloping her mind entirely. She grabbed at her HPs and lifted herself to all fours somehow, crawling into some bushes nearby. Someone else was watching this entire spectacle with wide, red eyes. GZ looked at the bushes into which NOD had gone crawling through, and dropped his weapon down. A clacking sound near him made him whirl around. Two long chains dotted with sharp spikes came flying through the tree in front of him and locked shut on his flailing arms. GZ looked at them with confusion and tried to free himself, and two similar chains came flying at him and wrapped themselves tight around his legs, the spikes puncturing the skin on his legs and making him bleed profusely. THE CHAINER dropped down from the tree and glared at GZ, the chains extending from behind it, protruding from it's back. It's chest throbbed slowly and opened, and a long coil of steel came flying out of it to grab GZ's throat. GZ screamed as the razor-sharp chain locked around his neck and caused immediate bleeding. The Chainer roared. GZ pulled his right arm back and reached for his HPs in a desperate attempt to heal himself. He looked longingly through wet eyes at the now-empty Grenade Launcher lying on the ground. The Chainer followed his gaze and a smirk broke on it's face. It blinked once, and the chains tugged. GZ howled loudly. His inhuman shriek echoed around the Zone. The chains pulled outward, and ripped his arms, legs and neck off the rest of his torso in a sweeping motion. His torso spurted blood from all sides and thudded into the ground, and his head fell beside it with wide-open, death-filled eyes. The chains retracted back, and The Chainer glowered at the remains of GZ. It then heard an explosion right in front, and swung back above into the clump of trees, and disappeared. SLICE 'N' DICER GROUNDZERO2424 IS DEAD!!!!! The_Return had heard the explosions from his left and had hurried there. He had come upon MissM who was lying down. Quickly pulling a HP out, he had patched MissM's one remaining wound and had lifted her gently to shake her awake. MissM had opened her eyes and had gratefully looked at Return, before nodding towards the direction where DS had gone flying through. Return had followed her gaze, gritted his teeth and had clutched his Grenade Launcher tightly. He lowered MissM down, and ran forward in pursuit of DS. The shuffling of feet in front of him made Return set his lips tight with determination. He kept running and following his prey, as was soon onto him. DS was fast, but not fast enough. As soon as they both reached a clearing, Return stopped, lifted his weapon and pulled the trigger, all in one action. THUNK! KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The grenade hit DS on his back and DS slowed for one flying instant. It was his undoing. The grenade exploded with the might of a huge sucker punch of a trained boxer, and threw DS into the air. His legs were mercilessly ripped, the flesh dropping out and spraying blood into the ground. He yelled. At the same exact moment, a loud inhuman cry of death shook the entire area. Return smiled in glee, thinking it was DS's cry of pain. How wrong he was! The clacking sound stopped near the tree where Return stood. Return froze and slowly turned to his left, lifting his head with rapidly widening eyes. The chains came flying through the tree's branches, wrapping around Return's arms and legs and snapping tight, biting into his flesh and ripping it apart to tear out big cuts all across his limbs. Return screamed in blinding agony, desperately grabbing at his HPs to cover the bruises. THE CHAINER dropped down from the tree, and glared at Return. The Return's eyes widened in extreme surprise at the sight in front of him, and his jaw dropped. He forgot to scream. The Chainer's chest throbbed again and opened, the final coil of razor-sharp chain flying out of it and clicking tight around Return's neck. Return gave out a final croak, as the Chainer tugged at it's chains. Arms and legs were pulled out of Return's torso, the green grass of the entire area turning immediately to a bright red, bloody crimson. Return's eyes closed and mouth opened, and it stayed open as his head was ripped out of the remaining part of his body. His eyes slowly rolled backwards, his mouth still open to scream, as his head landed with a thud on the side of his bleeding torso. The Chainer glowered at Return's remains for an instant, then turned around. PHANTOM THE_RETURN IS DEAD!!!!! (Contd.)

Sector C:
NOD came through the bushes, her body on fire. She knew she was the target of her team by now, and she was going to pay dearly for her misgivings. A low mumbling voice came from the tree on her right. NOD wasn't sure, but the words she heard was "necktie...necturn....nickle...its defiantly an n word...." She froze up, and craned her neck in that direction. Michelle was looking straight back at her! When their gazes met, Michelle smiled and waved at NOD, lifting her weapon up. NOD took a step back in alarm. THUNK! NOD turned. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! NOD never had the chance to run. The explosion made her fly through the air and hit the tree in front heavily, as numerous cuts and wounds opened up all over her legs and back. She fell down at the base, and reached weakly for her HPs. Suddenly she felt emptiness where her left arm should be. She checked in astonishment and saw that her left arm had been ripped off her body! The stinging pain came searing through the left shoulder at that exact moment. NOD opened her mouth to scream, but clamped it shut again. Rustling sounds on her far right made her alarmed, and she peered in that direction. She had no strength left, and was bleeding profusely. DS came slowly out of the trees. The sight he had seen just now made his legs shake, and he had forgotten all the aches and pains his body gave out for some temporary moments. What the hell was that...THING?!, he wondered. He was so lost in his mind's sights of The Return being ripped into pieces, that he had forgotten where he had wandered into. THUNK! The grenade came flying out of nowhere, and landed right in front of DS. He looked at it puzzled, as if not knowing what it was for an instant. When realisation hit DS's eyes, it was too late. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The explosion tore through DS's right leg, shredding it right off the rest of his body! It fell heavily on the right side as DS went flying back, screaming. DS grabbed at his HPs and stole a glance at his severed leg, then howled in immense pain. Doc Faustus nodded to himself, as if appreciating the shot. He blew the smoke out of his Grenade Launcher's barrel, and dropped it into the ground. Sector E: NOD was running out of HPs, fast. She checked her backpack and noticed that she had only 2 left. She knew she wouldn't last long. From where she was hiding, she could see the entire small valley below her. A glint of metal shined through the trees nearby, and NOD became alert. GreenDemon came climbing through the small bushes, and looked at the hillock in front of him. His eyes wandered towards the top, and right at the Grenade Launcher pointed towards him! GD's eyes stopped in alarm. THUNK! GD took a step back. The grenade landed near his legs. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The grenade exploded mercilessly. GD went down in a heap, his legs ripped off their flesh and fresh boiling blood pouring out of both of them. NOD smiled at the sight and tried to get up, but her searingly aching body didn't follow her mind's orders. FreddyMyers blinked at the sight in front of him. Yes, that's right, come to me you bastard, he thought grimly. DS had limped into the area slowly, his severed right thigh stump patched up with a huge HP. He reached for the stem of a thick tree and stopped to catch his breath. His body was shaking, a jolt running through it every now and then. THUNK! DS jerked up his head instantly. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The grenade exploded with all it's might. DS thudded back into the tree he was leaning on, and roared in excruciating pain. Somehow with a superhuman effort, DS pulled out the last 3 HPs which he had with him to patch himself up, as Freddy looked on satisfyingly. Sector G: GD patched himself up the best he could and then looked back up at where NOD had fired at him from. He immediately grabbed his Grenade Launcher and started striding towards the right of the hillock. A small path meandered between the trees towards the top, and that's where he was headed. NOD noticed this, and lifted herself upward. She was not going to stay and be a sitting duck, roasted. GD had run straight into the path and had disappeared from sight. NOD limped forward, walking unsteadily for a bit before falling down heavily into the ground again, her body giving up. She pulled herself forward on all-fours, and was continuing to do so when GD came upon her from a distance. GD aimed. THUNK! The grenade landed near NOD's right side. NOD closed her eyes, and sighed in silent resignation. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The impact of the explosion nearly blew NOD's body into two. Her side ripped open and guts flew out of it, as she grabbed at the wound and rolled about in pain. She somehow pulled her final 2 HPs out and patched herself the best she could, pulling her guts back in. She lay there quietly, Slightly Wounded and bleeding. Take that, GD thought fiercely. DS had limped into this area, and had heard the explosion in front of him. He stopped and leaned on a tall rock nearby. Satisfied that he was alone, he lowered himself and sat down to take a breather. THUNK! The grenade came flying down from the top of a tree, and landed squarely near DS's right side. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The ground shook all around DS, and his chest opened up a huge blackened wound which coughed out blood by the rivers! DS's eyes watered and his mind started to numb out into darkness. He lay there, breathing heavily first, then in short bursts. His body started spasming and huge jolts of pain put his nerves on fire. He was Severely Wounded, and didn't have much to go on. Fighting back the dizziness and darkness, he crawled forward. (Contd.)

Sector B:
Bwind22 was creeping up, scanning his left and right then staring forward again. The trail of blood in front of him led into the boulders nearby, and Bwind's grip tightened on his Launcher. He parted some bushes carefully and stopped. The cave looked dark and ominous! And the trail of blood led right into it! Bwind squinted inside. He could barely make out the silhouette of a figure inside, huddled in a corner and breathing heavily. Gentle spasms rocked it's body. Then, the figure turned towards him. Bwind lifted his weapon and fired. THUNK! The grenade lobbed near NOD's left side. NOD opened her eyes in alarm for an instant, then everything clouded over. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The explosion echoed around the small cave, kicking up plenty of dirt and pebbles into NOD's face. Her sides and patches of HPs were ripped out again, blood oozing out of them. She was Bleeding, and her mind was shutting off the world around her. Her body had started jerking and going numb, as her right arm clawed at the walls of the cave in sheer agony. She crawled out at a snail's pace, bleeding quite badly. Bwind grinned, and dropped his weapon. DS was on his last legs, literally. His strength had gone, and only the grim determination to stay alive was putting some amazing strength into his arms as they pulled his torn body forward. A silent pair of eyes watched him crawl across! DS kept crawling, oblivious of someone watching him. He crawled on, straight out of this area into the next, right across the hidden hunter. As soon as DS had crawled out of sight, the hunter was suddenly aware that he had NOT FIRED HIS WEAPON! Ergh, Despare thought and kicked himself. He grabbed his Launcher and got up to run behind DS. Sector D: NOD had crawled out of the cave somehow, holding her ripped body together. She couldn't crawl far though, and came to a stop near some bushes. A shadow fell across her, and the pointed barrel of the grenade launcher was aimed right at her face! NOD closed her eyes, without even looking at who her attacker was. The shadow took a step back, and pressed the trigger. THUNK! The grenade lobbed out, and the shadow sprinted back some distance away. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! NOD's final thoughts were "Sorry for not..." Her brains broke off her thought processes as the cruel explosion of the grenade blasted her head apart, ripping it open and splattering her brains right across the bushes. Her legs stuttered for a bit, her single arm rolled for a moment, before the rest of her body calmed down and lay still. Straker dropped his weapon, and yelled out a huge warcry. SLICE 'N' DICER NIGHTMARE OF DEATH IS DEAD!!!!! DS was crawling with all he had left. He had no idea where he was headed, but kept crawling forward. Soon the ground gave away to sand, and then to soft wet mud, interspersed with small rocks. A boot crunched on his outstretched hand and DS winced. The barrel poked at his head, and he lifted his head. It was the last sight DS was destined to see. THUNK! The grenade came out of the barrel and thudded into his face, falling right below DS's chin. KABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! The might of the explosion blasted DS's head into bits, splattering chunks of flesh, blood and brains into the rocks and mud around him! The figure walked forward and kicked his still-jerking body into the water next to it, and DS's body was slowly caught into the current and floated away to some unknown destination. PHANTOM DEMON SEED IS DEAD!!!!! Fiend Skull watched the headless body float away, and turned back. Despare came running through the bushes straight at him. "Where did that bastard go?" Despare gasped breathlessly. "Where do you think?", Fiend replied then nodded towards the river. Despare gaped on, lowering his loaded Grenade Launcher. Fiend took one look at him, then walked forward. In the stillness of the night, all the surviving hunters had gathered near the Gates. Despare looked sullen. As the deadline ticked over, the windows in the watchtowers opened and the snipers trained their rifles straight at the two groups! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!... The shots kept resonating all around the still night. I will give you some moments out to grieve for your fallen ones. Status Updates will follow shortly.
