Round 1: Match 23
Visions of Light: The Art of Cinematography  It's all about the best cinematography in movies, so if nothing else, it looks a hell of a lot better than your average flick. Might not be the most interesting thing to watch for the average movie-goer, but if you're big into movies and moviemaking, this is definately one to check out. VS Casablanca  I could just leave it at the title and cover- hell, I could leave it at the title, and I wouldn't have to say another word. For my money, this is the best movie currently in the tournament, since Taxi Driver got eliminated in the qualifying rounds. Bogart, Bergman, Claude Reins, As Time Goes By, that dialogue, everything about this movie, really. It's Casablanca.

if there's some big voter outcry for Taxi Driver to take Departed's spot, I guess I wouldn't see the harm in it, but I'm not just gonna arbitrarily replace one movie with another.

Well, I haven't seen Visions of Light, but it certainly looks like it'd be more interesting than Casablanca, because that just didn't do much for me.
