I find it hard to believe that after the success of the KBV1 that Q wasn't given cart blanche to do as he pleased on V2. Hell, he could've invested some of his own money into for a piece of the back end. V2 seemed like a total farce compared to the first one as far as I'm concerned. All the pieces were in place and they seemed to just fall where they may. If and when Q does do a follow-up (Copperhead's daughter comes for revenge- 15 years from now), I hope he can put a little more effort into it than what seemed apparent in V2.

is the fact that it's one movie not getting through to you for a reason?

Not at all, Sam. Is the fact I find the second half of the movie inferior to the first half not getting through to you ?

it's getting through, but your "they should've had more money or time since Kill Bill 1 was so successful" reasoning is bullshit because, once again, it was all one movie. Let me know when this fact DOES get through to you.

I'm a film maker myself so I know all about time and budgets. I wish I had half the time and budget Q did for the second half that he did. Nine asked who saw it and what their opinions were. I gave mine. You don't care for my reasons ? Fine. Live with it.

It. Was. All. One. Movie. One movie. How many movies? 1. Volume 2 is half of a movie. Volume 1 is half of the same movie. It's one movie. ONE movie. One movie. One movie. One movie. One movie. One movie. One movie. One movie. One movie. Didn't hear me? Don't worry, I'll say it again. ONE GOD DAMN MOVIE! It's not that hard of a concept. Just take the number of movies you seem to THINK that it is, and divide by two. Or subtract one. Either way, it'll get you the actual number of movies, which is ONE. If it hasn't sunk in yet, let me know and I'll tell you again about how it was one movie.

Feel free to repeat yourself. As quoted above, I understand it is "one movie" since you love to keep saying that. I didn't care for the SECOND HALF of the "one movie". You liked the second half of the "one movie" then that is your opinion. I didn't.

And that's fine. I don't give a shit THAT you didn't like it. But all the stuff around that is stupid.

Maybe because it had already been filmed. Remember, one movie.

Know much about counting? One movie.

But, maybe the fact that it's one movie isn't where you're going horribly wrong. Allow me to explain the concept of something being one movie as opposed to it being two movies. When you make one movie, you don't wait around to see how well people like the first part of it. You make it all at once. When you make two movies you can see how people like the first one. In some cases (Scary Movie 4), they might not do that. But the option is there, unlike when there is one movie. Same kind of thing with the budget. See, you have a budget for a movie. But when you do two movies, you have a budget for both movies. Understand? One Movie = One Budget. Two Movies = Two Budgets.

hmmm so Q was completely unable to see how unbalanced the two halves of the movie would be when they were released ? I wonder how much time and money it would take to film secondary footage of a stand-in rewriting Beatrix's hit list so all the non-stop action didn't happen in the first half of the film and let the second half fall flat due to lack of any of the enthusiasm the first half held ? No interesting music, cross genres, anime, over the top action, etc in the second half of the movie, but plenty in the first. Perhaps the script supervisor and editor should be held equally accountable then for putting everything many people enjoyed in the first half of the movie and having nothing left to put in the second half.
So far all anyone here has heard is you repeating over and over "it's one movie, it's one movie". Did you have any opinions on it or did you specifically post here just to hear yourself speak. Rather than your "one movie" mantra, you haven't said anything at all.
